Celebrating Nurses Week with AzONL!

Posted 10 days ago by Stephanie Barendt

Dear Nurses,

As we celebrate Nurses Week, on behalf of the Board of Directors from the Arizona Organization of Nurse Leaders (AzONL), I am thrilled to express our deepest gratitude and admiration for the incredible work you do every day. Your dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to patient care are truly inspiring and deserve to be celebrated!

This week, we honor you and all the nurses who make a difference in the lives of countless individuals. Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly fortunate to have you as part of our healthcare team. You are the heart and soul of our community, and your contributions are invaluable.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of previous AzONL President Teri Wicker, RN. Teri was a dedicated and compassionate nurse who touched the lives of many through her exceptional care and unwavering commitment to her patients. Her contributions to the healthcare community were invaluable, and she will be remembered for her kindness, dedication, and the positive impact she had on everyone she encountered. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Teri's family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. May her memory be a source of comfort and strength.

As a special thank you for your unwavering commitment to excellence and for the countless sacrifices you make to ensure the health and happiness of others, we are excited to offer you a gift exclusively for AzONL members! We are launching a microlearning series: S.P.O.T. Talks (Short.Practical.On-Point.Timely). These five 10-minute videos are designed to fill your cup as a nurse leader, providing you with valuable insights and practical tips. They will be emailed to you to view at your convenience, starting on May 19th. You can sign up for free at https://www.capstoneleadership.net/azonl-spot-talks/. You are appreciated more than words can express!

Please check out https://azonl.nursingnetwork.com/ for future events and opportunities to connect with fellow nurse leaders.

Wishing you a wonderful Nurses Week filled with recognition, joy, and the knowledge that you are valued and cherished.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Stephanie Barendt DNP, RN, NE-BC
